Preliminary Discussion on Groundwater Seepage Mechanism of the Mesozoic-Cenozoic in North of Halarat Mountain
In the formation process of sandstone-type uranium deposits, groundwater is both a migration driving force and a carrier of uranium.Groundwater problems have always restricted the prospecting direction of sandstone-type uranium deposits. In the view of core porosity and permeability parameters and its the sedimentary pattern, this paper preliminarily discussed the groundwater seepage mechanism in the north of Halarat Mountain in Xinjiang, the laboratory test core porosity and permeability data were used as the constraint condition to calculate the porosity and permeability of the target layer in the research region. The results showed that the permeability calculated by logging curve was in good agreement with the permeability of core analysis, and the porosity and permeability curve presented the continuous change trend of sandstone in the well.Through the analysis of the permeability gradient changes of exploration lines No.6 and No.9,it was considered that the permeability in the research region generally formed a gradual increase from northeast to southwest.Combined with the evolution pattern of the strata in the research region, three hydrogeological unit sub-regions were divided in the study area, which provide important reference to the next uranium exploration.
