Analysis of Stratigraphic,Petrological Characteristics and Metallogenic Conditions of Middle Jurassic Xishanyao Formation in Subashi Area of Turpan-Hami Basin
The Turpan-Hami Basin is a Mesozoic and Cenozoic intermountain basin in western China, which located in the Turpan block of the Kazakhstan plate. The Subashi area sets on the slope of the Ayding Lake in the basin. This article discussed in detail the stratigraphic and petrological characteristics of Xishanyao Formation in Subashi area, and the wide and gentle monoclinic structure of Aiding Lake is conducive to the stable deposition of Xishanyao Formation. The sand bodies of Xishanyao Formation in Subashi area is few in number, large in thickness and rich in organic matter. The sand body is good in connectivity, which is beneficial to the bedding flow of uranium-containing oxygen-containing water, and conducive to the formation of large-scale interlayer oxidation zone and uranium mineralization. The braided river delta facies in the study area has a wide sedimentary range, and the mud-sand-mud structure.Uranium mineralization is mainly distributed at the edge of the underwater distributary channel, which provides sufficient storage space for uranium mineralization. The petrological characteristics of Xishanyao Formation are pore cementation, and the rock is loosely consolidated. The hydrodynamic conditions of the river channel are strong, which is favorable for sandstone-type uranium mineralization. The comprehensive analysis showed that the sandstone-type uranium metallogenic conditions in the study area are favorable, and the prospecting prospect is broad.
