Study on the Effect of Aperture on the Internal Radiation Field of γ-ray Logging Saturation Model
γ-ray logging model is used to calibrate gamma logging instrument and provide measurement guarantee for uranium exploration in China. Therefore,it is very important to study the distribution law of radiation field, which can provide theoretical basis for standard construction and quantity determination. In order to discuss the influence of borehole aperture parameters on the intensity of radiation field inside the model, the influence factors of aperture changes on the intensity of γ-ray radiation at the center point of the saturated model were analyzed. The volume source of existing standard γ-ray logging saturated model was used to study the the covariant relationship between the intensity of γ-ray radiation at the center point of the model by theoretical calculation with Monte Carlo Simulation method. The results showed that when the volume source of borehole radius of the saturated model is less than 6.5 cm,the influence of the aperture on the γ-ray radiation intensity at the center point of the model is less than 5%,which meets the calibration requirements of the γ-ray logging instrument, and can provide a theoretical reference for the adjustment of drilling parameters in the subsequent model fabrication.
