Wang Jiaxiang's Special Contributions to Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context and Needs of Times
Since his adolescence,Want Jia-xiang had learned and accepted the theory of Marxism.When studying in Moscow Sun Yat-sen University,he tried to apply the Marxism to Chinese issues.After returning China and be-ing one of the leads of the CPC,he used Marxism to consolidate the army and CPC.During the critical periods of Zunyi Meeting,he firmly supported Mao Zedong and first coined the notion of"Mao Zedong Thought"afterwards.Wang Jia-xiang also developed original theories in various fields such as military ideological and political work,party building,united front,urban work,diplomatic work,youth work,and intellectual work,which had promoted and developed the first leap in the sinicization of Marxism.
