Political Mobilization of Xinhua Radio Station in Yan'an(Northern Shaanxi)from 1940 to 1949
During the War of Resistance against Japanese and the War of Liberation,the Communist Party of China(CPC)carried out a lot of political mobilization works with media and publicity.Under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee,the Xinhua Radio Station in Yan'an(Northern Shaanxi),made full use of the advantages of broadcasting in the public opinion communication and the mobilization to publicize Marxism and Leninism,Mao Ze-dong Thought,and the Party's lines and policies.It effectively united and mobilized the people to participate in the national democratic revolutionary war,improved the political quality of the masses,and made great contribu-tions to the consolidation of the national anti-Japanese united front and the promotion of the victory of the War of Resistance against Japanese and the War of Liberation.It is of great importance to combine the history of Xinhua Radio in Yan'an(Northern Shaanxi)from its rapid development to its maturity and stability to its steadfastness in holding the position of public opinion,and study its various practices of political mobilization and the historical re-sults it has achieved.As a result,it not only enriches the Marxist theory of news dissemination,but also provides useful experience for the CPC to conduct political mobilization in the new era.
