Abstract
"Water Quality Engineering Ⅰ"is one of the core courses for the major of Water Supply and Drainage Sci-ence and Engineering,playing a crucial role in the cultivation of professional talents.Under the goal of fostering virtue through education,the teaching team of this course has successfully integrated ideological and political con-cepts into traditional teaching,introducing elements such as patriotic feelings,innovative consciousness,sense of responsibility,spirit of taking on responsibilities,team collaboration,and the spirit of striving.This not only enri-ches the teaching content but also enhances the effectiveness of teaching.Such practices have effectively promoted the transition from mere knowledge transmission to comprehensive development in morality,intelligence,physical education,aesthetics,and labor,providing a beneficial exploration for cultivating high-quality professional talents.It also achieves the organic combination of knowledge transmission,ability cultivation,and value shaping.
