Preparation and Luminescence of Y0.97Zr1-xTixO2:Eu0.03 Phosphor Characteristic Study
A series of red phosphors Y0.97Zr1-xTixO2:Eu0.03(x=0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8,1)were successfully prepared by a high-tempera-ture solid-phase method.And it was physically analyzed using X-ray diffractometer to determine the physical structure of the phos-phor.The emission and excitation spectra of the phosphor were studied at room temperature.The phosphor produced three strong emission peaks under the near-ultraviolet excitation condition at 394 nm,and the peaks were all located in the range of 580 nm-620 nm.From the excitation spectra obtained under the monitoring condition at 611 nm,it can be known that the phosphor has strong ex-citation intensity in the range of 280 nm-330 nm as well as at 394 nm and 467 nm,which matches with the excitation range of the near-ultraviolet white LED.The study shows that the phosphor can be used as a red fluorescent material for near-ultraviolet white LEDs,which has potential applications in the fields of anti-counterfeiting,solar power generation and lighting.
