Research Progress in Adsorption of Sulfonamides Antibiotics by Modified Biochar
Biochar emerges as a highly promising material for adsorbing water pollutants. This paper conducts a comprehensive review of the contemporary research regarding the utilization of biochar for the elimination of sulfonamide antibiotics in water, with a particular emphasis on the modification approaches of biochar and its application in the removal of sulfonamide antibiotics.Additionally,it summarizes and delineates the future trajectory for identifying the most appropriate adsorption material in scenarios where multiple antibiotics exist in water environments,as well as for reducing production costs and facilitating the industrialization of the process to expedite its application in environmental pollution remediation.
