The Establishment and Application of a Visualized Closed Loop Management System for Departmental Consumables Based on Big Data
A visual closed loop management system for department consumables based on big data was established to facilitate the department to make statistical analysis of the application and use of consumables,and to solve the problems such as large randomness,excessive collection,overstock,expired waste,and imbalance of inventory data.With the integration of the system with the Hospital Management Information(HIS)system and the Hospital Resource Planning(HRP)system,the existing consumables requisition data,usage data,and inventory data were integrated into the system,forming an independent consumables database.According to the mathematical relationship"original inventory quantity+received quantity=current inventory quantity+used quantity",the visual closed-loop management of department consumables was achieved through the visualization tool Power BI.The application results of the system showed that Clinical departments can query and analyze the receipt and use of consumables based on time dimension,category dimension,and cross dimension of time and category,solving the problem of information silos caused by independent data between hospital management systems.In addition,diversified query dimensions and transparent information were realized,which was conducive to discovering the problems of missing and overcollecting in the charging process,ensuring the accuracy of charging,and ensuring the quality of the inventory work by analyzing and evaluating the inventory data.By analyzing the time series data of consumables requisition and usage,it is beneficial for clinical departments to develop reasonable requisition plans,avoid backlog caused by excessive requisition,and facilitate the procurement department to analyze clinical usage data,develop reasonable procurement plans,reduce inventory,and achieve orderly procurement;With the utilization of the intelligent data processing features of Power BI,the system can achieve dispersed inventory time,avoiding problems such as workplace congestion and poor inventory quality caused by traditional centralized inventory.
