The Effect of Long-Term Load on Duplex Microsyringe Pump
Objective To explore the effect of long-term load on duplex microsyringe pump. Methods With the retrospective analysis of the usage records of 92 duplex microsyringe pumps in hospitals from June to September 2023,according to the different use methods, the duplex microsyringe pumps used in normal practice were divided into control group, and the duplex microsyringe pumps used in frequent timeout and excessive injection were divided into observation group, with 46 sets in each group. The accuracy of flow velocity and pressure sensor, automatic alarm system failure rate, and safety were compared between the two groups. Results The accuracy of flow velocity and pressure sensor in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The failure rate of the automatic alarm system in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The safety of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Long term load can lead to a decrease in the accuracy of the flow rate and pressure sensor of the duplex microsyringe pumps,an increase in the failure rate of the automatic alarm system, and a decrease in the safety of use.
