The Application Effect of Fine Management of Medical Consumables in Operating Room Based on SPD Mode
Objective To investigate the clinical application effect of a refined management scheme for medical consumables in operating rooms based on the supply-processing-distribution(SPD)model.Methods With the selection of 800 medical consumables applied for hospital operating rooms from January 2022 to January 2023 as the control group to carry out routine management,and 800 medical consumables applied for in the hospital operating room from February 2023 to February 2024 as the observation group to carry out refined management based on SPD mode,the application,collection,and inventory time of medical consumables,the occurrence of adverse events of medical consumables,management quality,and nursing staff satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The application,collection,and inventory time of medical consumables in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse events of medical consumables in observation group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).The qualified rate of information recording and the traceability rate of consumables in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction scores of nurses in the observation group on the management of operating room consumables were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The refined management scheme for medical consumables in operating rooms based on SPD mode can significantly reduce the time for medical consumables application,collection,and inventory,decrease the risk of adverse events,and improve the quality of medical consumables management and nursing staff satisfaction.
