In this study,the basic evaluation approach for relative effect of edge light luminosity in the industry standard YY 0068.1-2008"Medical Endoscopes-Rigid Endoscopes-Part 1:Optical properties and test methods"was first elaborated.Subsequently,with the use of specific actual endoscopic data as an example,the situation that the relative effect of edge light luminosity evaluation results of relative field of view position and absolute field of view position were opposite was analyzed.Therefore,it was pointed out that the relative effect of edge light luminosity evaluation of the relative field position at the 90％maximum field Angle(Wp)specified by YY 0068.1-2008 was not comprehensive,and it was necessary to supplement and establish an evaluation method for absolute field of view position relative effect of edge light luminosity that covered the entire field of view.Finally,based on the basic evaluation approach of YY 0068.1-2008,a relative effect of edge light luminosity evaluation method covering the entire field of view was established in this study.This evaluation method can provide reference for further revision and improvement of industry standards.
