The Application Effect of Dermatomal Bridge Dissection and Shortening Suture in the Treatment of Patients with Circumferential Mixed Hemorrhoids by Milligan-Morgan Hemorrhoids
Objective To explore the application effect of dermatomal bridge dissection and shortening suture in the treatment of patients with circumferential mixed hemorrhoids by Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoids(MMH).Methods According to the random number table method,60 patients with circumferential mixed hemorrhoids treated in the hospital from September 2022 to October 2023 were divided into two groups, with 30 patients in each group. With the use of MMH treatment in the control group, and MMH treatment combined with dermatomal bridge dissection and shortening suture in the experimental group, the total effective rate of treatment, wound healing time, postoperative 3-days perianal visual analogue scale(VAS)score, length of hospital stay, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and wound healing time and the length of hospital stay were shorter than the control group. In addition, the postoperative 3-days perianal VAS score and total incidence of complications were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of dermatomal bridge dissection and shortening suture in the treatment of patients with circumferential mixed hemorrhoids by MMH can improve the total effective rate, shorten wound healing time and the length of hospital stay, reduce the degree of postoperative perianal pain, and reduce the risk of complications.
