The Effect of Specific Electromagnetic Spectrum Therapeutic Apparatus Irradiation Combined with Magnesium Sulfate Wet Compress on the Incidence of Chemotherapeutic Phlebitis in Patients with Breast Cancer Undergoing Chemotherapy after Surgery
Objective To investigate the effect of specific electromagnetic spectrum therapeutic apparatus irradiation combined with magnesium sulfate wet compress on the incidence of chemotherapeutic phlebitis in patients with breast cancer undergoing postoperative chemotherapy.Methods With the prospective,randomized controlled trial design adopted,the research period was set from January 2023 to June 2024.A total of 160 patients with breast cancer undergoing postoperative chemotherapy admitted to the hospital were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group at a ratio of 1:1,with 80 cases in each group.With routine care in the control group,and specific electromagnetic spectrum therapeutic apparatus irradiation combined with magnesium sulfate wet compress on the basis of the control group in the observation group,the incidence of chemotherapeutic phlebitis,the degree of pain,satisfaction,and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between two groups.Results The cumulative incidence of chemotherapeutic phlebitis in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).On the 7th and 14th days after chemotherapy,the incidences of phlebitis in the observation group were 5.0%and 15.0%,respectively,which were lower than the 22.5%and 36.3%in the control group(P<0.05).On the 1st,3rd,5th,and 7th days after chemotherapy,the visual analog scale(VAS)scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The overall satisfaction rate of the observation group was 92.5%,which was higher than the 77.5%in the control group(P<0.05).No serious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups.Conclusion Specific electromagnetic spectrum therapeutic apparatus irradiation combined with magnesium sulfate wet compress can effectively prevent chemotherapeutic phlebitis in postoperative chemotherapy patients with breast cancer,reduce pain and improve patient satisfaction,with good security.
