The Influence of Cross-Sectional Area of Temperature Sensor Probe on Key Parameters for Temperature and Time Verification of Pressure Steam Sterilization
With the pressure steam sterilizer as a commonly used equipment that uses saturated steam to sterilize items, and sterilization process verification as a test process to determine whether the sterilization process has a sterilization effect on a specific item, the temperature and time verification of pressure steam sterilization process requires the placement of temperature sensors in the simulated load to measure the temperature inside the load. However, the temperature and time verification results of the load may be affected by the cross-sectional area of the temperature sensor probe. In this study, with the verification of pressure steam sterilization temperature and time of load by using temperature sensor probes with different cross-sectional areas, the influence of the cross-sectional area of the temperature sensor probe on the key parameters for verifying the temperature and time of pressure steam sterilization was explored, which provided a reference for selecting the type of temperature sensor in practical work.
