The Breeding and Complete Set of Planting Technology of New Maize Variety Suyu 22
Suyu 22 is a new maize variety for feeding purpose,it was bred by Jiangsu institute of agricultural science of the coastal district with self-selection inbred line F2 as female parent and F24 as male parent.The results of various experiments showed that Suyu 22 increases the yield more than 10％compared with Suyu 9 widely planted in current maize production of Jiangsu province,has the features of middle growing period,enduring high density,big ear,living maturity and good quality,is suitable to be planted in Jiangsu and its circumjacent provinces.Through sowing at the right time,reasonable close planting,scientific fertilizer applying and strengthening the field managements,cultivator can get high yield from Suyu 22.
