Study on the Content of Carbon and Nitrogen in High and Normal Yield Soil of the Corn Belt of Songliao Plain
On the base of field experimentation and sampling, the high yield and normal yield soils from the corn belt of Songliao Plain were studied to know the distribution of soil organic carbon (SOC) and total nitrogen (TN) in two kinds of soil. The results showed that the content of SOC and TN in Qian'an, Gongzhuling and Fuyu's high yield soil were higher than that in normal yield soil. And in other sample sites, the content of SOC and TN in normal yield soil were higher than those in high yield soil. There was a big difference among C/N of all sample sites. Measures for high yield could increase C/N, and C/N of high yield soil was almost the same as the C/N of normal yield soil for all sample sites. The interface between the cultivated layer and the plough sole in the soil profile was different according to the farming method. Soil with 'wave' interface had higher yield than soil with 'plane' interface. The SOC and TN distribution of different depth of soil were also different. The content assembled at the top layer. So the way of fertilizing, the characteristic of soil and other factors should be considered for increasing crop yield.
