Bioinformatics Analysis of Delta-1-Pyrroline-5-Carboxylate Synthase Gene Family in Maize
Delta-1-pyrroline-5-carboxylate synthase is a restriction enzyme in proline biosynthesis, and play an important role in responses to biotic and abiotic stresses in plants. In order to study the function of P5CS genes in maize stress response, the physicochemical property, secondary structure, subcellular location, gene structure, evolutionary relationship and conserved motif of maize PSCS genes family were analyzed by the bioinformatics methods. The results showed that there were 3 acidic alkalinity proteins, one neuter protein and one alkalinity protein in the P5CS family. The secondary structure of two of P5CS proteins was random coil, three of them were alpha helix.Instability index analysis found that 4 of the P5CS protein is stabilize protein, hydrophobic analysis showed that all of the P5CS protein were hydrophilic protein, maize P5CS family contains at least four intron, the most one P5CS contains 19 intron, subcellular localization analysis showed that all of P5CS protein localization in cytoplasm, evolution analysis indicated that P5CS family class into three subfamily.
