GWAS Analysis of Starch Content and Fiber Traits in Silage Corn
This study used silage corn inbred line GF353 and the large embryo micro endosperm corn inbred line 20145 to construct an F2 population through self-crossing.High-density genotype data were obtained from 300 individual F2 plants via genome sequencing.GWAS analysis was performed based on the phenotypic data of starch, acidic detergent fiber(ADF),and neutral detergent fiber(NDF)content. The results showed that starch related sites were detected on Chr2,Chr3,Chr7,and Chr8 in the materials used,ADF related sites were on Chr4 chromosome, and NDF related sites were on Chr2 chromosome, providing basic materials and related molecular markers for accel-erating the cultivation of new super silage corn varieties.
