Gastritis cystica profunda(GCP)is a rare submucosal lesion of the stomach,and it is difficult to diagnose before surgery.The pathogenesis of GCP is still unclear,and may be related to surgery,chronic inflammation,EBV infection,and abnormal gastric motility,etc.The clinical symptoms of GCP are not specific,and the significance of ultrasound endos-copy(EUS),EUS guided perforation biopsy(EUS-FNA/B)and CT examination is greater in the diagnosis of GCP,but the pathology is still the gold standard.GCP is primarily treated through surgical resection,with the choice of procedure follow-ing the principles for treating submucosal tumors.In this paper,we will describe the pathogenesis,diagnosis,and treatment of GCP to provide a theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of GCP.
