Fairness and justice are reflected in the pursuit of certain social values and ethical norms,and must be innovated and expanded in practice with the historical changes.Socialism with Chinese characteristics as the political precondition and actual foundation for Chinese-style modernization and the actual construction of Chinese-style modernization combine to form the impor-tant foundation for the innovation in discourse and the expansion in practice in connection with fairness and justice in contempo-rary China.In the process of promoting Chinese-style modernization in the new era,the innovation in discourse and the expan-sion in practice in connection with Chinese-style modernization find expression in the form of separation and integration.In the process of Chinese-style modernization,the innovation in discourse and the expansion in practice in connection with fairness and justice rely on the adherence to CPC General Secretary Xi Jinping's view on fairness and justice contained in his thought on so-cialism with Chinese characteristics for the new era as the guidance and foundation,which finds expression mainly in the multi-dimensional manifestation of fairness and justice in the process of Chinese-style modernization.
