The Application of Two Methods in the Classification of High Risk Drinking Water Source Protection Areas:Taking a Reservoir in the Mountain Area as an Example
Taking a reservoir in the mountainous area as an example, the emergency response time method and numerical model calculation method were used to delineate the drinking water source protection area of a reservoir, respectively. The differences in the pattern of the protection areas delineated by the two methods were compared and analyzed in order to provide case studies and method references for the division and adjustment of high-risk drinking water source protection areas. The results indicated that the pattern of protected areas designated by the emergency response time method and numerical model calculation method was similar, but the two methods differ in the scope of secondary and quasi protected areas in the water source protection area. The suggestions for the construction of a risk emergency system for water source protection zones in response to the current environmental risk situation of the reservoir were proposed.
