Optimization Study of Denitrification Deep Bed Filter in Actual Engineering
Denitrification filter has been widely used in the upgrading and transformation of municipal sewage treatment plants.Denitrification deep bed filter is a deep bed filter system, which can synchronously remove TN(total nitrogen),SS(suspended solids)and TP(total phosphorus)and other pollutants. The filter material usually uses special shape and specification of quartz sand where denitrification dominant bacteria grows on through biological action to remove TN(total nitrogen).Depth filter can remove SS(suspended solids),while by adding PAC agents to achieve TP(total phosphorus)removal. This paper analyzed the problems of excessive dissolved oxygen, inaccurate dosing of carbon source and phosphorus removal agent, and over-dense or over-loose frequency of backwashing and nitrogen repellent in the actual advanced treatment of denitrification deep-bed filter. The operating parameters were studied and compared and optimized based on the characteristics of low-concentration influent water, aiming to provide reference for its practical application of advanced treatment.
