In this paper,the detection limit and uncertainty of total α radioactivity in solid samples were analyzed by measuring solid samples.The detection limit of total α radioactivity in solid samples was 0.113～0.131 Bq/g,and the corresponding lower limit was 0.452～0.524 Bq/g.The uncertainty of total α radioactivity was 19.80%(k=2).The limit of detection and uncertainty were discussed in this paper.
