Analysis of Spatiotemporal Evolution of Carbon Emissions,Carbon Carrying Capacity and Carbon Pressure in Liaoning Province
The study used fossil energy consumption data and land use data from 2012 to 2021 in Liaoning Province,and calculated the carbon emissions,carbon carrying capacity,and carbon pressure of Liaoning Province through statistical data and IPCC Carbon Emission factor method.The spatiotemporal characteristics of carbon emissions,carbon carrying capacity,and carbon pressure in 14 prefecture level cities were analyzed.The results show that the carbon emissions indicating a fluctuating growth trend,with a steady growth period in the first stage(2012-2015);the second stage of fluctuation decline period(2015-2017)and the third stage of rapid recovery period(2017-2021).The overall carbon carrying capacity has shown a slow decline from 2012 to 2016,but rapidly increasing from 2019 to 2021.The overall carbon carrying capacity showed a slight fluctuation and continued to rise,with a"dual core"characteristic,the carbon pressure situation has becoming increasingly severe;The carbon pressure index of Panjin City,Shenyang City,Yingkou City,and Dalian City has exceeded 1 and the growth rate was fast;The carbon pressure index of Liaoyang City,Jinzhou City,and Anshan City continues to grow and was about to break through 1.Although the carbon pressure index of other cities has been increasing year by year,it has not yet reached 0.5.
