Research on the Application and Efficacy of the"AO-NaClO-RBD"Process Technology in Hospital Wastewater Treatment
Under the backdrop of normalized epidemic prevention and control measures, the treatment of hospital wastewater has garnered significant attention. This study employed the"AO-NaClO-RBD"and"anoxic-aerobic—NaClO—Rotating Biological Disk(AO—NaClO—RBD)"process technology to treat wastewater from a tertiary hospital in Yunnan, with an actual treatment capacity of 1247±170 m³/d.Key parameters such as chemical oxygen demand(COD),suspended solids(SS),anionic surfactants, fecal coliforms, and pH were analyzed. The results demonstrated that the treated effluent met the pretreatment standards outlined in the"Discharge standard of water pollutants for medical organization"(GB 18466-2005),thereby satisfying the requirements for discharge into the municipal pipeline network. This research offered valuable technical insights for hospital wastewater treatment facilities in preparing for unforeseen epidemic situations.
