Analysis of chemical composition of essential oil from Cassia bicapsularis flower
Essential oil extracted with steam distillation method and the chemical composition of essential oil from Cassia bicapsularis was analyzed by GC - MS. The percentage content of each constituent was determined by area normalization method. The experimental results showed that the constituents of volatile oil from chemical composition can be divided into fatty acids, phenols and alkanes, in which hexadecane acid (fatty acids compounds) the highest levels (47. 850 % ). There are 9 alkanes compounds with total content of 37. 876 % , nonacosane is of higher content (12. 594 % ) , the content of methyl-di-tert-butyl-phenol is 5. 874 % . This study provides theoretical basis for further study of Cassia bicapsularis.
