Diversity Analysis of Phenotypes and SSR Markers of 21 Zanthoxylum Germplasm Resources
Using phenotypic traits and SSR markers to analyze the diversity of introduced Zanthoxylum germplasm resources is helpful to understand the genetic relationship among different resources, which is of great significance for variety identification and breeding.Using 21 Zanthoxylum germplasm resources introduced from Kunming Arbar-ium as experimental materials, phenotypic traits and 7 SSR markers were used to analyze the diversity. The results showed that:(1)There were significant differences in phenotypic traits among the 21 Zanthoxylum germplasm re-sources.A total of 18 alleles were detected by 7 pairs of primers in 21 germplasm resources, among which the mini-mum number of alleles was 1(P3,P8),the maximum number of alleles was 4(P52,P60),and the average number of alleles per locus was 2.5714.The average number of effective alleles per locus was 1.4005.(2)The Shannon Index(I)ranged from 0.0000(P3,P8)to 1.0357(P60),with the average value of 0.4328.The value of polymor-phism information content(PIC)ranged from 0.1574(P2)to 0.5109(P60),with the average value of 0.2106,a-mong which 3 pairs of primers had high polymorphism information(PIC>0.25).(3)The values of observed het-erozygosity(Ho)and expected heterozygosity(He)ranged from 0.0000(P2,P3,P8)-0.2381(P60)and 0.0000(P3,P8)-0.5714(P60),with the average values of 0.1020 and 0.2358,respectively.The average inbreeding coefficient was 0.4162,and the value was 0.3307(P69)-1.0000(P2).The 21 Zanthoxum germplasm resources were completely separated by phenotypic traits and SSR markers. Conclusion showed that:The 21 introduced Zan-thoxylum germplasm resources had high genetic diversity.SSR markers should be used to identify the Zanthoxylum germplasm with similar phenotypic traits.
