The Relationship between Grasshopper Diversity and Local Environment in Dongchuan District
Explore the diversity characteristics of grassland locusts in Dongchuan District to provide theoretical sup-port for locust diversity protection and locust control in the region.Six grasslands at different altitudes in the mountains and river valleys of Dongchuan District were selected as sampling sites, and grassland locusts were sampled through outdoor random net capture, and finally brought back to the laboratory for specimen preparation and identifica-tion and data statistical analysis. The Oriental species was the dominant species in Dongchuan district, and there were 19 species in 4 families,15 genera.Shannon-Wiener diversity index and Pielou evenness index of grasshoppers in al-pine grassland were higher than those in river valley.Among the different elevations in the valley, the highest diversity index is 1155 m and the highest evenness index is 1250 m.Among different elevations in the alpine region, the high-est diversity index is 2220 m and the highest evenness index is 1350 m.The population density of grassland locusts in Dongchuan District is low(average 0.08 individuals/m2),and they are in a state of no disaster. This indicates that the ecosystem of the local grassland is relatively stable.Among them, the diversity index of grassland locusts in the high mountains is relatively high.We should strengthen the monitoring of grasshoppers in the high mountains.Locust monitoring in regional grasslands.
