The pastoral complex is a comprehensive rural development model integrating modern agriculture,Leisure Tour-ism and Rural Community,which plays a positive role in expanding rural characteristic agricultural industry and develop-ing rural tourism.Based on the related concepts of the pastoral complex,the paper discusses the feasibility of constructing the pastoral complex in Xishuangbanna in combination with the development of characteristic agriculture and the integra-tion of agriculture and tourism,and four kinds of integration and independence of agriculture and tourism suitable for Xish-uangbanna are proposed characteristic pastoral complex development model.
