The coconut grove lotus terraces project in Xishuangbanna Tropical Flower Garden has broken through the single-crop planting method of traditional terraces in planning and construction.It uses coconut groves as the upper space and wa-ter lily ponds as the lower planting interface,and combines livestock and poultry fisheries to enrich biological species di-versity and make full use of site resources.So that environmental resources such as soil and water can interact with plants and animals in a benign cycle.This promotes the mutual penetration,tourism,agricultural culture research as well as tropi-cal agriculture and forestry economy.It also innovates new ideas for the development of terrace models.The project has achieved remarkable results and is a good example of beautiful scenery,excellent ecology and strong economy.This pro-vides a reference for helping rural revitalization and high-quality development of ecological economy.
