This article starts by discussing the recent developments in Chinese language teaching in the United States and highlights the great significance of studying in China and engaging in culture-targeted study tours in overseas Chinese language education.Next,it explores the challenges faced by overseas study programs in China and proposes strategies for improvement.Using specific examples,it proposes a model that combines innovative culture-targeted study tours with classroom teaching to address a crucial issue in overseas study,that is,approaches to the integration into Chinese society.Without a doubt,the success of such programs will greatly enhance the Chinese proficiency of interna-tional students,deepen their understanding and awareness of Chinese culture and society,and ulti-mately play a positive role in promoting the development of the Chinese language education in the U-nited States and mutual learning between different civilizations.
