The culture of traditional Chinese medicine,an important component of China's excellent traditional culture,is an important cultural symbol for enhancing China's international voice.Vietnam is an important country of the Chinese-character cultural sphere,and the cultural spread of tradition-al Chinese medicine in Vietnam is unique and typical.Based on the process and characteristics of the cultural spread of traditional Chinese medicine in Vietnam,this paper divides such spread into four historical stages:contact and emergence,selection and adoption,transformation and development,and integration and prosperity.In the new era,the cultural spread of traditional Chinese medicine in Vietnam has the cultural value of continuously promoting the mutual learning between different civili-zations,the political value of serving our national strategies,the economic value of achieving mutual benefits,and the innovation value of promoting the"marching towards the global stage"of Chinese culture.To promote the high-quality cultural spread of traditional Chinese medicine in Vietnam,help the steady international promotion of Chinese culture,and realize the high-quality integration of traditional Chinese medicine into the implementation of the"Belt and Road Initiative",this paper pro-poses focusing on the following four strategies:it is necessary to strengthen the top-level design of the cultural spread of traditional Chinese medicine,discover the most typical stories about the cultural spread of traditional Chinese medicine,innovate the approaches for the cultural spread of traditional Chinese medicine,and build a qualified team for the cultural spread of traditional Chinese medicine.
