The root cause of the difficulty in learning Chinese lies in Chinese characters,especially writing Chinese characters by hand,while it is not difficult to recognize Chinese characters.We rec-ommend a model of teaching Chinese characters that focuses on e-writing.The world has entered the era of e-writing,and the approaches to learning Chinese should not lag behind.The model of teach-ing Chinese character mainly based on e-writing relieves the Chinese-language teachers of heavy burdens and opens up convenient shortcuts for Chinese-learning students,which helps solve the dif-ficulty in writing Chinese characters by hand,displays fully the visual cognitive advantages of Chinese characters,reduces the difficulty of learning Chinese,and makes Chinese-language learning experi-ence the shift from the possibly most difficult to the easiest.
