High-quality Development of the Border Economy in the Perspective of Chinese-style Modernization:Construction of an Assessment System and an Empirical Analysis
The high-quality development of the border economy is an eye-catching practice of Chi-nese-style modernization in the ethnic minority areas of China,which has much theoretical and practi-cal significance.Theoretically,from the perspective of Chinese-style modernization and on the basis of the new development concept,this paper attempts to reveal the rich implications and construct a theo-retical model as well as an assessment system for the high-quality development of the border econo-my.The paper also empirically measures the data of 37 prefectural cities in the borderland of China in 2021 by using the entropy weight TOPSIS method,and explores the regional differences by using sta-tistical indicators such as the coefficient of variation and geographical concentration index so as to re-veal the development of the border areas in the perspective of Chinese-style modernization and propose corresponding improvement strategies.
