A Study of the Part-time Job of the Teachers of the National Southwest Associated University
In the turbulence of the War of Resistance against Japanese Invasion,teaching and re-search resources of the National Southwest Associated University were limited.The soaring prices in the rear areas made it difficult for the teachers of the National Southwest Associated University to make a living,and they started to work part-time one after another.This part-time job had multiple impacts.To a certain extent,the shortened teaching time inevitably affected their teaching,while the scholars'social participation and market activities also changed their lifestyles and ideological con-cepts,promoting changes in the value orientation of early modern universities,and further improving their social service functions.At the same time,the academic system of the universities also experi-enced adjustment in this process,while the inflow and regeneration of cultural resources promoted the political,economic and cultural development of the southwest region of China.
