Spatial Narrative and Differences of Global Politics
Space is not merely the contextual field and restrictive barrier where behaviors occur;it is also the direct outcome and transformative element of inter-subjective relations.Global politics,as a distinct spatial existence,not only embodies the connotations of"the politicity of space"but also re-veals the trait of"the spatiality of politics",integrating the dual logics of the active construction of space by actors and the reciprocal influence of spatial shaping on actors.The global political space,on the one hand,holds the vision and ideal of global unity;on the other hand,it has yet to achieve the elimination of existing spatial boundaries and the transcendence of anarchy.It profoundly relies on the deformation and escalation of traditional political elements such as power,rationality and value around globalism,manifesting itself as a spatial assemblage supported by multiple logics.Herein,geopoli-tics,underpinned by power,imposes exclusive spatial imagination on the globe through the spatial construction of boundaries.Globalization,driven by capital,implies the essential requirement of spa-tial separation beneath the surface of space compression.Global governance,led by values,still con-fronts the realistic test of anarchy while pursuing a common vision.Facing the synchronic superposi-tion of different spatial dimensions,the development of the future global order needs to be explored in the process of scrutinizing the value of spatial logic,observing the dynamic attributes of spatial hierar-chies,and emphasizing the basis of spatial integration with differences.
