The fusion of the"extremely new"and"extremely old"is a prominent phenomenon in the current creation,dissemination,and reception of cultural audio-visual programs in China.Cultural audio-visual programs with excellent traditional culture or art as their theme are highly praised and discussed among young audiences.This indicates that the current exploration of the contemporary narrative transformation of Chinese traditional culture has found suitable directions and paths.In recent years,representative programs and focal phenomena have emerged,shaping the contemporary narrative transformation of outstanding traditional culture through five main dimensions:modernized refinement,spectacular audio-visual experiences,internet-influenced expression,emotionally resonant appeal,and mutually constructed values.Together,these aspects establish a structured creativity in the audio-visual representation of traditional culture,facilitating the adaptation to audience media consumption and aesthetic cognition.This,in turn,effectively guides cultural choices and value identification for contemporary individuals,including the younger demographic.
