Forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation is the main theme of ethnic work in the new era.The prominent unity and inclusiveness of Chinese civilization determine that cultural identity is the core of forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation.In bros,culture can be divided into three levels:values,systems and artifacts.From the perspective of cultural identity,the sense of community for the Chinese nation can be divided into three levels as follows:at the core level,there is a common spiritual home and value pursuit for the Chinese nation;at the intermediate level,there are shared historical memories and developmental pursuits for the Chinese nation;and at the peripheral level,there is the coexistence of diverse cultures within the Chinese nation.To strengthen the sense of community for the Chinese nation,it is necessary to adhere to the basic principles of enhancing commonality,promoting mutual interaction between ideology and existence,fostering pluralistic coexistence,strengthening educational efforts,leveraging the leadership advantages of the Party,utilizing abundant cultural resources,promoting high-quality development and common prosperity,and constructing an interconnected social structure.
