摘要
元代的货币制度沿袭金制,金朝旧臣从钞的名称、面额、形制、管理机构等方面规划元钞,制定了元初钞法的诸项原则.元代平准行用库继承了金末重银的局面与平准务的设计,置立平准行用库以银钞兑换稳定物价,维护货币流通.除此之外,元代早期平准行用库还通过贸易诸物使新钞进入市场,意图推广纸币、平衡物价,由于制度中存在有利可图的因素而渐生弊病,最终只保留了金银与纸币、昏钞与新钞的兑换功能.
Abstract
The currency system of the Yuan Dynasty followed the Jin system.Former officials of the Jin Dynasty planned the Yuan currency,including its name,denominations,forms,and management institutions,and established various principles for the Yuan Dynasty's early currency regulations.The Yuan Dynasty's Pingzhun Xingyong Ku system inherited the Jin Dynasty's emphasis on silver and the design of Pingzhun agencies,setting up the exchange of silver and paper currency to stabilize prices and maintain currency circulation.Additionally,in the early Yuan Dynasty,the Pingzhun Xingyong Ku also introduced new paper currency into the market through trade in various goods,intending to promote paper currency and balance prices.However,due to profitable factors in the system,problems gradually arose,and finally the system only retained the function of exchanging gold and silver for paper currency,as well as old currency for new currency.
