From aesthetic sensuousness,this paper re-examines the rational capital logic that dominates Western-style modernization and conducts theoretical analysis and value reassessment. Western-style modernization represents a process in which rational capital logic systematically displaces aesthetic sensuousness. From rational production to aesthetic consumption,aesthetics has increasingly lost its humanistic essence,ultimately becoming subordinate to rational capital logic. The dominance of rational capital logic and the concealment of "human-oriented" aesthetics are key reasons for the current holistic crisis and internal value fragmentation in Western-style modernization. To resolve the crisis,it is essential to integrate the sensuousness of "human-centered" aesthetics into self-interested economic rationality,establish a foundation of aesthetics based on sympathy and empathy,and actively construct a systematic theoretical and practical framework for the bidirectional interaction between aesthetic sensuousness and economic rationality.
