Similar to campus theater in eastern China,postmodernist theater is also"popular"in campuses in Xi'an,as exemplified by postmodern plays such as The First-tier City in the repertoire of Nanshan Drama Club in the Northwest University of Political Science and Law.However,for campus theatre in Xi'an,postmodernism is firstly a method,secondly an art work.The cultural na-ture has a strong pre-modern flavor.In general,we should maintain a vigilant attitude and adhere to a prudent critical stance to-wards the postmodern theater on campuses in Xi'an.
