A Fleeting Glance of"Hua'er"to See Intangible Cultural Heritage:Re-Thinking the Fieldwork on Hua'er in Northwest China
Hua'er is a folk song which is widely popular in five provinces of China,namely Qinghai,Gansu,Ningxia,Xinjiang and Shaanxi,where,it is co-created and shared by nine ethnic nationalities:Han,Hui,Tibetan,Tu,Dongxiang,Bao'an,Sala,Yu-gu and Mongolia.It is the cultural crystallization of the long-standing exchanges and blending of multi-ethnicities in the North-west Area;it is the best example of the sense of the community of the Chinese nation in terms of traditional music.Therefore,the purpose and significance of conducting a more in-depth and comprehensive research on the origin and ecological culture of this music can be seen here.In this paper,we will discuss based on this and previous fieldworks.
