Exploring the Stage Soundscape of Cantonese Opera:Taking the Repertoire Themed on Revolutionary History as an Example
The concept of"soundscape"has gradually become a hot topic in China's academic circle in recent years,but not many studies have been conducted on stage soundscapes.The stage has always been the most important venue for traditional Chinese op-era performances,and the revolutionary historical plays,which is the milestone in the development of Cantonese opera,are typical representatives of the stage soundscape of Cantonese opera.In order to promote the soundscape construction in the creation of con-temporary Cantonese opera,and to facilitate the soundscape construction in the creation of repertoire of local operas in China,it is important to summarize the presentation of sound and auditory visual field on the stage of Cantonese opera themed on revolutionary history,to draw on the"'sound construction-auditory perception'two-way research model"in the field of ethnomusicology,and to adopt two basic research methods,namely,listening and sound walking,combined with case study and theoretical analysis,to excavate the stage soundscape of the revolutionary history themed materials of Cantonese opera.
