The Transcendence and Paradox of Boundaries:Review on the Interdisciplinary Research on Fine Arts History
As the cognitive boundaries of fines arts history continue to be developed,broken through and extend,the direction of in-terdisciplinary research has become a major trend in the development of fines arts history.Fine arts research cannot be separated from cross-border interactions and dialogues between disciplines,and the continuous overlapping,expansion and deepening of in-terdisciplinary research is an important way to realize the innovation of research concepts and methods in the perspective of new lib-eral arts.This paper summarizes the history of interdisciplinary development of fines arts history in China and the West,discusses the interaction between the discipline of fine arts and other disciplines and their paradoxes,and explores how fines arts history es-tablishes its own academic independence and subject position in the development of interdisciplinary development,in order to re-examine the potential in the development of fines arts history research.
