Study on progressive muscle relaxation training combined with music therapy on the symptom index of hemodialysis patients
Objective To explore the effect of progressive muscle relaxation training combined with music to reduce the burden of symptom in hemodialysis patients. Methods A total of 112 patients(91 males and 21 females, average age 41.9±14.0 years)who underwent hemodialysis in our hospital from January 2021 to June 2021 were selected. The experimental group received progressive muscle relaxation training combined with music therapy, while the control group received routine rehabilitation exercise guidance.Compared the symptom burden and laboratory testing indicators of the two groups of patients before training and six months after training. Results The total score,18 items and some physiological indicators of the symptom burden in two groups were improved after training(P<0.05).Conclusions The combination of progressive muscle relaxation training and music therapy has certain significance in improving the symptom burden of hemodialysis patients and it is worth promoting and applying.
