Study on the establishment of biological reference interval standard for platelets in healthy population in Yuxi District of Yunnan Province
Objective To establish and verify the biological reference interval standards for peripheral blood platelet related parameters in healthy population in Yuxi area of Yunnan Province,and provide reference basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods The PLT count and related parameters of health healthy people who underwent blood routine physical examination in Yuxi People's Hospital from August 2020 to July 2021 were retrospectively analyzed.A new interval standard of biological reference of healthy population in Yuxi area of Yunnan was established,and the applicability of the new standard and the original industry standard in Yuxi area was compared and verified.Results There were differences in PLT count and related parameters among genders,seasons and age groups in the Yuxi area of Yunnan.There were differences between the newly established biological reference interval standard of PLT parameters and the industry standards,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Experience had shown that the newly established reference interval standard could more accurately reflected the PLT parameter status of healthy populations in Yuxi area.Conclusions The PLT count and related parameters in Yuxi area of Yunnan Province were influenced by gender,season and age group.The newly established platelet biological reference interval standard is more suitable for the diagnosis and treatment of the population in Yuxi area of Yunnan.
