Clinical application value of gamma-interferon test in diagnosis of tuberculosis
Objective To analyze the clinical application value of detection of fully automated chemiluminescence assay(CLIA)γ-interferon test in the diagnosis of tuberculosis. Methods A total of 1616 suspected tuberculosis patients who were examined in our hospital from May 2023 to September 2023 were selected, and the final clinical diagnosis results were taken as the gold standard to judge the automatic chemiluminescence detection γ-interferon test in the diagnosis of tuberculosis. Results The final clinical diagnosis showed that 916 patients were positive and 700 patients were negative. The results of γ-interferon test showed that 908 patients were positive and 708 patients were negative. The positive detection rate of CLIA γ-interferon test in tuberculosis was relatively high, but there was statistically significant compared with the final clinical diagnosis results(P<0.05);There was no significant difference between the positive detection rate of tuberculosis, pulmonary tuberculosis, respiratory diseases and pulmonary inflammatory diseases and the final clinical diagnosis results(P>0.05);There was no significant difference between the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of tuberculosis and the final clinical diagnosis(P>0.05).Conclusions The use of fully automated chemiluminescence method γ-interferon test can diagnose tuberculosis, can identify patients with tuberculosis or non-tuberculosis diseases, and has a high sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of tuberculosis.
