Study on annular pressure dressing or vacuum sealing drainage after skin grafting
Objective To discuss the clinical effects of annular compression dressing and vacuum sealing drainage(VSD)after skin grafting for extremities with skin defects. Methods A total of 103 patients with limb skin defects admitted to the Plastic Surgery Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from September 2016 to September 2021 were selected and divided them into annular compression dressing group(56 cases)and VSD group(47 cases)according to different fixation methods after skin grafting. The skin survival rate, complication rate, length of hospital stay and incidence of adverse reactions of normal skin around the skin grafting area were compared and analyzed between the two groups. Results There were no statistical significance in skin survival rate, incidence of complications and length of hospital stay between the two groups(P>0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions of normal skin around the skin grafting area was lower in the annular compression dressing group than that in the VSD group(P<0.05).Conclusions After skin grafting, the patients were fixed with annular pressure dressing, and the normal skin around the skin grafting area of the patients had few adverse reactions.
