Investigation on vaccination rate of children under the immunization program in Yunnan Province in 2020
Objective To understand vaccination situation of the National Immunization Program(NIP)in Yunnan Province in 2020,and further consolidate and improve the vaccination rate.Methods 43 townships were randomly selected throughout the province,and a household survey were conducted to investigate the vaccination status of NIP vaccines of children born between January 1 2016 and September 1 2017.The coverage rate was evaluated according to the provincial and municipal levels.Results A total of 1,773 children were surveyed,with a certification rate of 100%.Among the 20 doses of NIP vaccine,except for PV4,the coverage rate of the remaining 19 doses of vaccine was more than 90%.The vaccination rates of PV4,DTP4,MenA2 and JE2 vaccines in 16 prefectures(cities)were all below 90%.Compared with 2015,the vaccination rates of JE2,Hep A and MenA+C1 vaccines had increased significantly.Conclusions The NIP vaccination coverage rate in Yunnan Province is generally at a high level,but there are still differences among different prefectures(cities).In 2020,the province's immunization planning has made steady progress compared with 2015,but it is still necessary to strengthen the management of vaccination services in weak areas and low vaccination rates,and further improve immunization coverage rate of NIP vaccine.
